Project details
A mixed-use development of residential accommodation with commercial space on the ground and podium floors, and three basement levels of parking.
Four podium floors provide further parking and a mechanical floor, with a gymnasium, pool and children’s play area on the fourth podium exclusively for residents. Two 21-floor towers offer one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments with views over the city of Abu Dhabi.

Comprehensive BIM strategy
A BIM-enabled strategy created at the outset gave every stakeholder a clear framework: processes, standards, IT infrastructure, legal frameworks, roles and responsibilities, KPIs, deliverables and QA/QC.
Independent design reviews
Unisearch performed weekly reviews of consultants’ design models, provided feedback, and tracked the incorporation of modifications in the next upload — keeping the project on programme with quality in check.
Clash management process
A cyclic clash-management process enabled consultants to review and rectify conflicts by type and severity — paying dividends throughout every design stage.
Improved client involvement
Early client participation, supported by BIM visualisation, helped the consultants reach a better and more productive design.
Code compliance
Specific attention was paid to code-compliance QA/QC as an integral part of the BIM implementation process.
