About Unisearch

An award-winning consultancy built on research.

We deliver highly specialised BIM management services to construction organisations — grounded in decades of university research and proven on live projects worth over half a billion dollars.

What we deliver

Specialised BIM management, end to end.

  • Enabling organisations to effectively embrace BIM practices
  • Project BIM management services
  • BIM-based project management services
  • Training and capacity building

Unisearch has successfully led the comprehensive, coordinated implementation of BIM on projects with a total value of over $500 million on behalf of a client organisation in the UAE.

Using BIM as an enabling tool, we created a collaborative environment — facilitated by both IT and process maps — within which consultants and contractors worked together to optimise design and construction and minimise operational cost across the project life cycle.

The same approach now guides our work on UK developments, from city-centre mixed-use schemes to green-belt leisure destinations.

Our unique tools

Methods we developed — and the industry adopted.

Process Protocol

Mapping the whole project process from early planning to facility management, so every stakeholder — including organisation-wide processes — can work together seamlessly.

Assessment Tools

Assessing an organisation’s ability to use its internal competencies — skills, processes and technology — to establish or plan the capabilities required to meet BIM Level 2.

BIM Process Maps

Mapping working practices at the right level of detail so project stakeholders can work together more efficiently and deliver the project’s BIM requirements.

BIM Management Certification

Designed to address the critical BIM skills shortage — bridging the gaps between software teams, business processes and the needs of clients and end users.
